NOT ALL TAPS ARE SUITABLE for British low-pressure systems that use a water tank in the loft. Continental taps are made for mains pressure. If you have a combination boiler or unvented water cylinder, then Continental taps should work fine. If you have a water tank in the loft, it is advisable to stay with British-made taps.
